We're building community.

Overview

Three new building projects will be the centerpiece of a historic McPherson College campus update: the Campus Commons, the Boiler House, and the Holman Sport Center expansion. These projects are funded in part by a successful $55 million campaign that will supercharge the largest-ever investment in new buildings in the college’s 135-year history. McPherson College is working on the development of these projects with Beck Design, an interdisciplinary, architecture and design firm from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Building Community

The Building Community Campaign has provided the resources to support initiatives set forth in the McPherson College Community By Design strategic plan, which focuses on growth and meeting the needs of an ever more diverse campus. While the cornerstone of this plan is the construction of the Campus Commons, other key campaign purposes include: fostering deeper engagement with MC alumni, especially graduates of the last three decades; growing innovative academic programs; making college more affordable through the Student Debt Project; and bringing awareness to the importance of estate gifts, a crucial piece in reaching a $1 billion endowment.
